I drove past my husband's school today and the flag was at half staff.

I remembered the feelings of shock, sadness, and anger we all felt eight years ago today.

I am thankful for my family and my country. And today I remember the fallen.

This blog is a place for students, teachers and parents to find the Internet's best deals on QUALITY flutes. I will compile links frequently in the hopes that it will make your life (at least the flute-finding part) just a little bit easier. I make no guarantees as to the quality of individual instruments; however, I will not feature brands that I believe to be of low quality.

A little bit about me: I have been teaching flute since 1996 and studied with Claire Johnson at the University of Houston Moores School of Music. I currently teach flute when I have the spare time, as I am a mom of two and a freelance marketing copywriter.

I firmly believe that each flute student has a better chance at success if they are not playing on a terrible, low-quality instrument that fell off the back of a truck somewhere. This is the ONLY reason why I am offering this free service.
